Displaced Northerner I moved down to Atlanta from the northeast last August to pursue my Ph.D. at Georgia Tech. I don't really know anyone down here other than other grad students, and I'm looking to expand my horizons a bit. I'm an obsessed music fan (I listen to all sorts of music, but metal and punk are probably my favorites), comic book geek, dark comedy lover (Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Louis C.K., etc.), and an all around nice nerdy guy. As far as dating and relationships go, I'm just looking for a sweet girl with some similar interests (and a demented sense of humor doesn't hurt!). I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, and I'd prefer to date someone who also didn't, but most of my friends are casual drinkers and I'd have nothing wrong with dating someone who liked a drink every now and again. P.S. To answer the optional question thingy, I don't really have an absolute favorite superhero, but Spider-man and the X-men meant a lot to me growing up and I still love all of those characters. As far as what superpower I'd choose, that's also ridiculously tough. Maybe some form of telepathy....Hmmmm...Have to think more on that. On second thought, optic blasts! That way taking off my glasses would always be an event!
