Lonely nerd seeks friends who share interests. My name is Shaun, I'm a 31 year old guy living in Croydon. I'm currently just looking for friends as I recently lost the love of my life. I'm not looking for a ---- -- or sex, just people to share my passion for superheroes with. I must admit my interest is mostly in the films, I have watched a number of cartoons and read some comics but these weren't my first loves. I was raised onthe Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batmans, grew up with Spiderman and X-men on TV, and am now avidly awaiting the next Marvel Comic Universe films as well as the Justice League.

My favourite film series is probably actually the X-men, my favourite character being Magneto, with my favourite hero Batman (the Joker is also my favourite villain - as Magneto isn't one obvs). I'm not a huge Superman fan, though Man of Steel was really good. I also like non-Marvel and DC heroes and parodies. I like superhero films so much I wrote my BA dissertation on them!

Other than this I like going to the theatre (particularly musicals), acting, drawing (mostly digital nowadays), sci-fi and fantasy, anime and manga, and playing games, both digital and board / card or tabletop.

One more thing - I'm a naturist. I won't try and force anyone into it, but if it's anything you've ever fancied trying I'm happy to talk with you about how you could go about trying it out, either joining me or going to a women's only event first.
